Andertons Music Co. has been part of the music instrument retail world since 1964. Over six decades in the market, you accumulate something more valuable than stock, you accumulate knowledge. Deep, hard-won understanding of what musicians actually want, what they’ll pay for, and where the gaps in the market are.

ORDO was born from exactly that understanding. A range of high quality accessories (cables, stands, tuners, bags) offered at genuinely accessible prices. Premium performance without the premium price tag.

The design challenge was significant. Budget accessories carry baggage. The packaging that usually surrounds them is functional at best, forgettable at worst with clunky graphics, uninspired layouts, the visual language of compromise. Exactly the kind of thing that makes a musician reach past it for something that looks more serious.

ORDO needed to feel different. Not just better than the budget competition but genuinely desirable in its own right.

The solution drew on the visual language of contemporary music itself. Bold, high-contrast, kinetic. The ORDO logotype takes its cues from the products - cables coiling, stands angling - with an 'O' motif built for animation. The illustrative style, representing products through graphic line drawings rather than photography, gave the range a strong and completely ownable visual identity that works across every SKU and scales effortlessly as the range grows.

The result: instrument accessories that look like they belong in a music video rather than a bargain bin.

Exactly what they deserved to look like.
